Margaret Christine Potts 86 of Cynthiana passed from this life 8:42 am Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Adena Greenfield. She was born November 17, 1934 in Pike County the daughter of the late Forrest and Maude (Johnson) Carter.  

She is survived by her children Ronnie (Diana) Knisley of Leesburg, John (Charlotte) Knisley of Ripley, Sandy (Gary) Wright of Chillicothe, Kelly (Sandra) Knisley of Cynthiana, Jerry (Lisa) Knisley of Greenfield, Janet (Frank) Cox of Hillsboro and Katina (Jeremy) Gross of Cynthiana; 22 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 40 great great-grandchildren; stepsons Eugene (Cindy) Potts and Jimmy Potts; brothers Jim and Donnie Carter both of Waverly and Roger Carter of Bainbridge.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; son Roy Stephen Knisley; sister Patricia Fyffe and brothers Elijah and Darrell Carter.

Graveside services will be held 11:30 am Saturday, February 13, 2021 in the Cynthiana Cemetery with Pastor Mike Whitley officiating. There will be no public visitation.
