William A. Current, 86, of Chillicothe, died at 5:20 am on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Highland Oaks Health Center, McConnelsville. He was born on August 2, 1939, in Chillicothe, a son of the late Willie A. and Ruby M. Ward Current. On. March 17, 1959, he married the former Linda L. Kuhns, who preceded him in death on December 2, 2013.

He is survived by his son, Bob (Mandy) Current, daughter, Tami Aldridge, both of Chillicothe, foster son, John Krehbiel of New Mexico, four grandchildren, Randy, Robert Jr., Misty, Tommy, and four great-grandchildren, Sophia, Logan, Alivia, and Willie. In addition to his parents and wife, William was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Current.

Bill was a graduate of Unioto High School, and worked for Chilpaco for 37 years before retiring.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort, with Donald Sheets officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded. Friends are invited to visit with Bill's family at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 am until the time of service.
