Wesley Eugene Spangler

Wesley E. Spangler, 80, of Frankfort, died at 11:05 p.m., on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at CareCore at Westmoreland, Chillicothe. He was born on Tuesday, December 1, 1942, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late, William Wesley and Cora Madaline Hasenzahl Spangler.

He is survived by three grandchildren, Heather, EJ, and Kendall, one niece, Diana, and one great-niece, Kelly. Wesley was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Ann Leffel.

Wesley loved gardening and canning what he harvested from his garden. He was also an avid lover of animals. But his greatest love was for his family.

A funeral service for Wesley will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 1 p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Family and friends can visit with Wesley's family at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
