Violet C. McCabe

Violet C. McCabe, 78, of Clarksburg, died on Monday, September 5, 2022, at 10:40 p.m. in the Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on Wednesday, June 28, 1944, in Barberton, OH, the daughter of the late Harry Martin and Sarah Katherine Conaway Moore. On January 26, 1963, she married David McCabe and he preceded her in death on August 18, 2017.  

She is survived by three sons: James (Tammy) McCabe of Clarksburg, Jeff (Mel) McCabe of Washington C.H., Joe (Anita) McCabe of Dayton, four grandchildren: Anne (Tommy) Faulkner, Morgan (Fred) McCluskey, Bailey (Aaron) Burchett and Madison McCabe, one great grandchild, Gracelynn Faulkner

Violet was a 1962 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She was a member of the Brown’s Chapel United Methodist Church for over forty years.

A funeral service for Violet will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 1p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Vera Welker officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest beside her husband, David, in Brown’s Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg.
