Vaun Frances Holbert
Vaun Frances Holbert, 77, of Chillicothe, died on Thursday March 24, 2016 at Westmoreland Place Nursing Home in Chillicothe.
She was born on September 25, 1938, the daughter to the late Calvin F. and Maudie B. (Pierce) Holbert, of Ross County.
She is survived by siblings, Marjorie Prince of Chillicothe, Judith (Larry) Doyle of Springfield, Harley (Holly) Holbert and Michael Holbert both of Arizona, Bill (Sandy) Holbert and John (Shirley) Holbert both of Chillicothe; several cousins, nieces and nephews including a special niece Kelli Stephenson of Oregon; and a dear friend Nancy Tanner of Florida. In addition to parents, Vaun was preceded in death by sister Rita Overly, brother Steven Hobert, and sister Jacia Holbert.
Vaun worked for Smith, Kline & French Pharmaceuticals for several years and was a meeting & event planner for leading hotels in New York, Chicago and San Francisco. Her hobbies included her love of animals, travel and remodeling homes.
Vaun was a loving and caring sister and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. No calling hours will be observed. The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge is serving the family.
