Timothy Alan Hester was born November 23, 1961 to Robert and Mary Jane Morgan Hester at Chillicothe Hospital and passed away May 11, 2026 at Adena Regional Medical Center. He grew up on Shiloh Road and Sycamore Street in Frankfort. He graduated from Adena High School in 1980. He attended the Pickaway Ross Vocational school. He excelled in basketball.
Tim worked for many years for Mead Woodlands, Loram (where he traveled throughout the country doing railroad maintenance and bought spoons for his mother in every state he visited) and FabCon Concrete. He was a master welder and carpenter.
He loved hunting, fishing, collecting antiques, and mowing. He also loved his family very much. He was a member of the Frankfort Presbyterian Church, and a lifetime member of the NRA.
He is survived by sister, Susan (Tim) McDonald of Frankfort, brothers, Jim (Edna) Hester of Centerville, and Jeff (Christina) Hester of Overland Park KS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Sam Hester, Natalie (Scott) Rawlings, Erin (Jason) Williams, Ryan (Becky) McDonald, Rose, Ruby, and Mitch Hester. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews Dillon McDonald, Kole and Klaire Williams, Kiera Williams Heath, and Cody, Alayna, and Grant Rawlings, and Wyatt, Rylynn and Paige McDonald, and his beloved basset hound, Red. The kids brought great joy to Tim. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nephew, Nathan McDonald.
In keeping with Tim's wishes, cremation will take place and no calling hours will be held. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 9 a.m., in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Frankfort Presbyterian Church, PO Box 356, Frankfort, OH 45628, or a charity of one's choice.
