Thomas Franklin McGraw

Thomas Franklin McGraw 58 of Waverly passed from this life 2:10 pm Thursday, March 28, 2024, at his home. He was born Monday, September 20, 1965, in Chillicothe to the late Paul and Wanda (Meadows) McGraw. On August 18, 1984, he married Dolores L. “Lori” Holbert, who survives. 

He is also survived by 3 children Robert (Mindy) McGraw, Jeffrey (Lyndsey) McGraw and Elizabeth (Josh) Long; 7 grandchildren Eli, Brody, Ava, Jaiden, Elliana, Abigail and Quentin; 6 sisters Kathy Miller, Donna Limle, Paula (Steve) Hilton, Lisa (Jeff) Blakeman, Trish (Robert) Holbert and Twana Demint; mother-in-law Shirley Campbell; brothers-in-law Thomas (Bridget) Holbert and Vernon Holbert; several nieces and nephews including Alisha Cooper, Anita Ewing and Jeremy Holbert, along with many great nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents Tom was preceded in death by fathers-in-law Robert Holbert and Harold Campbell; and brother-in-law Richard Holbert.

Tom loved gardening, woodworking and mushroom hunting. He also loved to vacation in the Smokey Mountains.

The family would like to thank the National Church Residence Southern Hospice Team for the care they provided Tom.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Pastor Jeff Blakeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 1pm until the time of service on Tuesday.
