Thomas Laessle

Thomas “Tom” Laessle, 60, of Bainbridge, died on Tuesday evening, July 12, 2022, at The Pavillion at Piketon, Piketon. He was born in Chillicothe, on Tuesday, August 8, 1961, the son of Glen R. and Wilma I. Estep Laessle. 

He is survived by his father, Glen R. Laessle, one sister, Becky James, two brothers, Paul (Brenda) Dunn, John Laessle, one sister-in-law, Gail Laessle, numerous nieces and nephews, and his special life-long friend, David A. River. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma I. Laessle, one brother, Donald J. Laessle, and his special companion and pet beagle, Diggy Dog; who went everywhere with Tom.

Tom was a 1979 graduate of Paint Valley High School. He had worked in Chicago where he installed fireproofing in many of the city’s high-rise buildings.

A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Friday, July 15, 2022, in Twin Township Cemetery, Bourneville, with Pastor Lee Hamilton officiating. No visitation hours will be held. The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Bainbridge is serving the family.
