Thomas Johnson

Thomas “Tommy” Johnson, 66, of Frankfort, died at 8:27 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. He was born on Saturday, March 19, 1955, in Ross County, the son of the late Wilgus and Mary Lou Bryant Johnson.

Tommy is survived by his three sisters, Ruth (Wendell) Crabtree of New Holland, Patty Johnson and Kathryn Johnson and Kathryn’s boyfriend, Thomas Hyer, who was Tommy’s best friend, all of Frankfort and one brother, Billy Johnson of Frankfort. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Elmer, Charles, Herbert and James Johnson and one sister, Lois Bussey.  

Tommy was a kind-hearted person. He was loved and cared for by his family all his life. He leaves them with many special memories.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, Tommy will be cremated. Family and friends are asked to attend a graveside service in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1 p.m. Pastor Dan Bennett will officiate the service. Burial of the cremains will follow the service. No calling hours will be held.
