Theresa Jean Keaton

Theresa Jean Fouch Keaton, of Cynthiana, Ohio passed from this life on December 26, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  She was born June 30, 1948 in Hillsboro, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leo B. "Pete" and Mildred Smith Fouch. On June 30, 1979 Theresa married the love of her life, Elijah Keaton who survives.

Theresa graduated from Greenfield McClain High School in 1967.  She worked at McMullen Trucking in Greenfield for over 36 years.  Theresa was a talented pianist and shared her talents with many churches over the years.  She was also an exceptional bowler, and many years won tournaments and trophies all over the country bowling many 300 games.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading and she created beautiful quilts and purses, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.    

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Melissa (Randy) Brown of Felicity, Michelle (Jim) Lohr of Greenfield, and Tammy (Brian) West of Hillsboro.  Her Step Sons, Jim Keaton, Tim Keaton and Tom Keaton of Cynthiana, her grandchildren, Eden Brown of Felicity, Ethan (Jackie) Brown of Felicity, Ryan West of Hillsboro, Kaleb (Kelsey) West of Hillsboro, Matthew West of Hillsboro, Taylor Harrel of Columbus, Cole Brown of Felicity, Maddie and Jacob Keaton of South Webster, Tessa Keaton of Piketon, Connie Brown of Amelia and Dustin Harrel of Chillicothe, her great grandsons, Bently West of Hillsboro and Grayson Brown of Felicity. Her brothers, Larry (Peggy) Fouch of Hillsboro, and Terry (Kristina) Fouch of Leesburg, her Sister-in-law, Kim Fouch of Leesburg and by her nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her son, Nathan Keaton her brother, Kevin Fouch, and her sister, Kathleen Fouch.

A Celebration of Theresa's life will be held at 2 pm Sunday December 30, 2018. at the Buckskin Community Church, 2862 Church Street, South Salem, Ohio 45681.  Reverend Dennis Brewer will officiate.
