Thelma Jean Davis

Thelma Jean Davis 85 of Cynthiana went to be with the Lord 6:45 pm Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born Tuesday, August 1, 1939, in Pike County to the late Clarence O. and Leona Berry Lowman. In 1958 she married, her husband of 66 years, Robert E. Davis, who survives. 

She is also survived by two children Deborah (Steve) McCoy and Robert A. (Michele) Davis; six grandchildren Shandra (Kenny) Neace, Amanda (Shane) Gephart, Shane (Stephanie) Hudnell, Leeann (Michael) Fyffe, Cody Eiring and Blake Eiring; nine great grandchildren Jenna, Kylee, Chase, Addisyn, Emma, Lilly, Cade, Gracie and Lane; four great great grandchildren Ryker, Luke, Branson and Brooklyn; one sister Betty (Bill) Caves; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents Thelma was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Paul E. and Barb Lowman and a nephew Tommy Cave. 

Thelma was a retired beautician and had worked over 40 years at the House of Styles. She also enjoyed traveling and shopping.

Funeral services for Thelma will be held 2 pm Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge with the burial to follow in the Cynthiana Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12 pm until 2 pm Friday at the Funeral Home.
