Ted Johnson

Ted Johnson, 66, of Chillicothe, died at 8:57 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at his home. He was born on August 13, 1949 in Ross County, the son of the late Adam and Bessie Smart Johnson.

Ted is survived by his wife, the former Kathy S. Howland. Also surviving are his three sisters; Irene Wolford, Jenny Stone and Shirly Cantrill all of Chillicothe and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mabel S. Avis and three brothers, Wilbur Johnson, Charley Johnson and Larry Johnson.

Ted was a born again Christian and was a member of the Plug Run Church of Christ in Christian Union. He worked for many years as an excellent concrete block and brick layer.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in the Plug Run Church of Christ in Christian Union with Rev David Marhoover officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery, Bourneville. Friends may visit with Ted's family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Bainbridge.
