Susan E. Yates

Susan E. Yates, 58, of Greenfield, died at 10:05 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 in Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe.  She was born on July 11, 1958 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late Sheridan and Betty Jean Bunch Carr. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Yates , and they were married on July 24, 1974.

She is also survived by three sons; Brad Yates of Greenfield, Quintin Yates of Chillicothe, Chase Yates of Greenfield, four grandchildren; Carissa, Bradley, Sydney and Maylea, two sisters; Iva Jean Robinson of Greenfield and Elizabeth Jane Smith of Washington C.H.. Susan was preceded in death by three sons; Robert Allen, Michael Dwayne and Brian Edward Yates and four sisters; Mary Smith, Alma Washburn, Dorothy Sowders and Neveta Leach.

Susan loved her family and was a hard worker. She retired from Greenfield Area Medical Center where she worked in housekeeping . She had attended the Greenfield Bible Baptist Church.

Susan’s  funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield with Rev Mike Anderson officiating. In keeping with Susan’s wishes, cremation will follow the service and her cremains will be buried in Greenfield Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the Yates family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
