Steven M. Alexander, Sr., 63, of Bainbridge, Ohio, passed from this life on May 7, 2022, following an extended illness at home. He was born in Columbus,  
Ohio, the son of Clint (deceased) and Ruth Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Alexander; children, Wendy (Adam Barras) Alexander of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Patricia Alexander of Bainbridge, and Steven Jr. (Meghan) Alexander of Worthington; grandchildren: Toby and Harper Barras and Theodore Alexander; his mother, Ruth Alexander, of Marysville; and siblings Cindy (John) Rowland of Port Charlotte, Florida, Jon (Cathi) Alexander of Marysville, 3 nephews, Ben and Joel Alexander and Ryan Bucher and 4 nieces, Angie Cox of Columbus, Paige (Wes) Thompson and Abigail Bucher of Waverly, and Katie Alexander of Marysville.

Steve was a 1981 and 1983 graduate of Kentucky Christian University and served as senior minister to several Churches of Christ and Christian Churches for 44 years. His ministries include: Flatfork Church of Christ in Olive Hill, Kentucky, Four Mile Church of Christ in Jackson, Ohio, Central Church of Christ in Mount Vernon, Ohio, Pleasant Grove Church of Christ in Mount Gilead, Ohio, First Christian Church of Wellsville, Ohio, Wintersville Church of Christ of Wintersville, and the Bainbridge Church of Christ of Bainbridge.

A graveside service was held for family and close friends at 1:30 PM on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Glen Forest Cemetery in Yellow Springs, OH with Larry Williams officiating.

The Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
