Shirley Ann Walley

Shirley Ann Walley 85 of Bainbridge passed from this life Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at her home. She was born October 14, 1936 in Ross County the daughter of the late Clyde William and Bessie Mae (Adkins) Clements. On September 11, 1982 she married Clark W. Walley, Jr. who died March 5, 2019.

Shirley is survived by her sons Brent Young, Brad Young, and Gary (Lois “Sug”) Young; daughter-in-law Jan Young; 2 grandchildren Cortney Branscom and Emily Young; great granddaughter Kennedy Branscom; sisters Phyllis Bullen, Cathy (Jon Mark) Hall and Mary Lou (Dana) Schmidt; and friends Florene Trent, Bertha Evans and Phyllis Whitten.

In addition to her parents and husband Shirley was preceded in death by a son Jerry Young; brother Lewis Clements and a brother-in-law Larry Bullen.

Shirley loved cooking for her family and journaling all events of the family each and every day of her life. She also enjoyed her daffodils.

A graveside service will be held 1 pm Saturday, March 26, 2022 in the Bainbridge Cemetery with Dana Schmidt officiating. No calling hours will be observed. In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to the Adena Health Foundation Hospice 9 South Paint Street Chillicothe, OH 45601.
