Sharon Sue Phillips

Sharon S. Phillips, 62, of Clarksburg, went to meet her Lord and Savior at 11:42 a.m. Sunday morning, July 31, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born on March 9, 1949 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Glen and Dorothy Justice Hyer. She married Ed Phillips on July 4, 1980 and he survives.

Also surviving are her son; Zachary (Ettina) Phillips of Chillicothe, grandchildren; Jonah and Breslin Pepin, sisters; Wanda (Dave) Williams of South Salem, Connie (Steven) Johnson of Clarksburg, Alice (Tim) Fout of Washington C.H.. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Dorretta Rinehart and Glenda Cornell.

Sharon was a 1967 graduate from Adena High School. She was a babysitter for lots of children and enjoyed watching them grow up. She loved life and was a faithful member of the Frankfort Church of Christ.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2011 in the Frankfort Church of Christ with Harold Rutledge officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
