Sharon Kay Gittings

Sharon Kay Gittings 81 of Chillicothe passed from this life Monday, July 17, 2023 at the Laurels of Hillsboro. She was born July 18, 1941, in Pike County the daughter of the late Samuel and Virginia (Martin) Cawley.

She was a graduate of Western High School, a United States Marine Veteran and she worked for Lazarus and Macys for many years. Sharon enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State Basketball, and all sports in general. She also loved country music and going to fanfare.

Sharon is survived by a sister Ruth Hanna; a brother Henry (Patty) Cawley; sister-in-law Becky Cawley and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Sharon was preceded in death by six siblings, Naomi Alexander, Janet Foss, Diana Wysong, Samuel Cawley, Virginia Cawley and Duane Cawley.
