Sarah C. Whitley

Sarah Catherine Whitley age 84 of Bainbridge departed this life 2 am Sunday, October 2, 2016 at her home. She was born August 30, 1932 in Hamilton County, the daughter of the late William and Minnie (March) Carter. On December 11, 1946 she married Samuel Ray Whitley who died June 4, 2011.

She is survived by 3 children, Teri (Curtis) Howell of Morrow, Orpha Mae (Jack) Forgacs of Cincinnati and Sandra Rae Collett of Hillsboro; 7 grandchildren, Allen, Christy, Cathy, Terry, Josh, Joseph and Samuel; ten great grandchildren, Christina, Jessica, Anthony, Logan, Rachel, Terry, Haley, Kara, Chris and Elizabeth and 4 great great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Callie Sue, Devin and Kaylynn.

Sarah was preceded in death by 3 grandsons, Allen, James and Bobby; a sister, Elsie Williams and a brother, Ernie Carter.

A memorial service will be held  11 am Monday, October 10, 2016 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT funeral home of Bainbridge with Speaker  Zach Little officiating. Interment will be in the South Salem Cemetery. There will be no calling hours observed.
