Ruth L. Keaton

Ruth Lucille Keaton, 86, of Frankfort, died at 6:40 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2010 in Edgewood Manor, Greenfield. She was born on July 14, 1924 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Clarence V. and Mary M. Richter Shields. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Keaton.



She is survived by one sister; Mary Ellen Shields of Frankfort, one sister-in-law; Garnet Shields of Frankfort and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded indeath by her son; Victor Keaton, three sister; Mildred and Lourene Shields, Opal Allman and one brother; Paul V. Shields.



Ruth was a 1942 graduate of Frankfort High School. She had worked at the First National Bank of Frankfort and the Ohio Valley Baking Co.



A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 10 a.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort with Bob Rose officiating. Friends may call at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort on Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
