Ruth Ann Harris, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026, after an extended fight with cancer. She was born July 11, 1950, to Robert A. and Marjorie A. (Edwards) Klettner, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Mary Kay Stern and one son Robert Harris.
Ruth is survived by on sister Debbie (Alan) Armstrong; her husband Boone Adkins; son William (Jamie) Harris; grandchildren RJ (Sierra), Seth, Kaylin and Sam Harris.
She was an avid Quarter Horse lover as well as a lover of Australian Shepherds and her grandkids. She enjoyed camping and riding with friends and her husband, Boone. She is loved by so many people and family members, who will truly miss her.
Per her wishes, following cremation a graveside service will take place at 2 pm Friday, July 17, 2026, in the Clinton County Memory Gardens.
The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
