Russell H. Osborne, age 80, passed peacefully in his sleep with his loving daughters by his side on March 24, 2021. He is predeceased by his wife Sally Osborne, née Pancake, parents Elwyn “Andy” Osborne and Helen “Pat” (Spetnegal) Cheanult, and infant grandson Alexander. Surviving are his daughters Michele Drollinger and Andrea Osborne of Chillicothe, Airin Osborne of Atlanta, Georgia, and Autumn (Ryan) Stiles of Frankfort; grandchildren Caleb Osborne, Monica (Greg) Mitchell, Ava Park, and Annabelle Osborne; great grandchildren Lily and Beau Mitchell; brothers Joe and Mike Osborne and Dave (Tarri) Chenault; sisters Judy Osborne, Mary (Bud) Malone, Marti Smith, Kacy Hayes, Terri (Ralph) Schelter, and Amy Chenault. Blessed with an abundant number of great friends along the road, Russ was a legendary character.
He was a retired nursing supervisor from Fayette County Memorial hospital, former owner of The Big Wheel Saloon, and the “Strohs' man” for Kerr Distributing, formerly G&O Dist. Co.
An avid Bengals fan and lifelong gardener, he was known through the Seventies as a Ping Pong champ, League Bowler, and Men's Softball team member.
Adored and loved by all, he will be the subject of many lively and loving stories and will be sorely missed.

The family will have a small private memorial celebration on April 9, 2021 at The Nostalgia Gathering Place. A large celebration of life will be announced for June 2021.
