Ruby Catherine Taylor

Ruby Catherine Taylor 85 of Cynthiana died 12:12 pm Monday, December 11, 2017 at her home. She was born December 15, 1931 in Pike county the daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy Knisley Jenkins. In 1950 she married Letcher Elwood Taylor who died in 1968.

Ruby is survived by six children, Veronica Jenkins of Waverly, Jimmy “Jimbo” Taylor, Terry (Caroyln) Taylor, Danny (Nancy) Taylor, Betty Lou (David Kinnison) Taylor, and Carolyn Taylor all of Bainbridge; 10 Grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; sister, Louise Metzber; half-sister, Mary Hawk; brother, Larry Jenkins and a special friend, Rosalina.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by daughter, Norma Taylor; sons, Billy and Letcher Lee Taylor; grandson, Jimmy Taylor; step grandson, Davey Nevins; great granddaughter, Jessica Jenkins; sisters, Mary Hammond and Margie Beekman; brothers, Joe, Frank and Russell Jenkins and daughter-in-law, Annie Taylor.

Ruby attend the Cynthiana CCCU and she loved music and attending the Paint Valley Jamboree.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Friday, December 15, 2017 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Bertha and Darren Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Cynthiana Cemetery. Friends may visit with Ruby’s family from 12 pm until the time of service.
