Rose Ann Weatherhead

Rose Ann Weatherhead 84 of Bainbridge formerly of Bourneville went to be with Jesus on Monday, October 31, 2016. She was born September 27, 1932 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Deck and Ruth Cooper Shoemaker.

She is survived by a son, Tom (Carolyn) Weatherhead of Bainbridge; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sister, Regina (Walt) Bethel of Chillicothe; brother, Roger (Fay) Shoemaker of Chillicothe; and a special friend, Cathy Wagner of Bainbridge.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Mel R. Weatherhead; granddaughter, Brittney Weatherhead and brother, Richard Shoemaker.

Rose Ann was one of the first crews to run squad in Twin Township. She was a member of the Bourneville Christian Union Church and she retired from ODOT after many years of service. Rose Ann always loved to do yardwork and care for her dog.

Graveside services will be held 12:30 pm Friday, November 4, 2016 in the Twin Township Cemetery with Rev. David Maughmer officiating. Friends may visit with Rose Ann’s family from 10 am to Noon on Friday at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge.
