Ronnie Gallimore

Ronnie Burl Gallimore 68, of Bainbridge passed from this life Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Ohio University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus surrounded by loved ones. He was born Sunday, July 28, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Douglas Burl Gallimore and Barbara (Kelsey) Crosby. 

On April 8, 2000, he married the former Rosie B. (Smith) Holloway, the love of his life, who survives. He is also survived by his mother Barbara; four children Amy Jo (Eli) Black, Nicholas (Lani) Gallimore, Rebecca Holloway and Shawna (Kyle) Thompson; five grandchildren Kaylynn Thompson, Ashtin (Philip) Dietrich, Sasha Mason, Willow and Saya Gallimore, and one great grandchild, Ace, on the way; a sister Vicky (Ron) Shepherd; brother Jeff (Tina) Gallimore, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Little Bit. 

In addition to his father Douglas, Ronnie was preceded in death by his stepmother Irene Gallimore and grandparents Carrie and Ronels Gallimore. Ronnie was an Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 62 of Chillicothe. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, playing cards and riding motorcycles. Ronnie found great joy in traveling and playing cards, passions he shared with special brother in law and sister in law Donie and Doris Smith. 

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery with military honors by the Ross County Honor Guard. Friends may call from 12 pm – 2 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
