Ronald G. Tyler, 78, of Radcliff KY, died at 9:14 am on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown KY. He was born on Wednesday, June 16, 1943, in Chillicothe, the son of the late Willard “Boise” and Zella C. Payne Tyler.


Ronald is survived by three children; Melissa (Twana Shaffer) Roberts of Hamilton, Scott (Julie) Tyler of Radcliff KY, Terri (Buddy Lee) Bryant of Chillicothe, fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one brother; Frank (Lucinda) Tyler of Chillicothe, best friend; Charlie P. Recobs, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister; Doris Mae Gibson, and five brothers; Marvin, Charles, Fred, Donald, and George Tyler.

Ron worked at Mead Paper in Chillicothe and was a certified meat butcher. He enjoyed going to his brother Frank’s house and sitting on the porch. Ron loved fishing and was a diehard Bengals and Michigan fan. He never met a stranger and felt everyone deserved a second chance.

A funeral service for Ronald will be held at 1pm on Friday, October 8, 2021, in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Richard Cottrill officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends and family are invited to visit with Ronald’s family at the funeral home on Friday from 11am until the time of service.
