Ronald R. Dudley

Ronald R. Dudley, 81, of Greenfield, died on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Greenfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Greenfield. He was born on August 14, 1944, in Franklin County, a son of the late William and Dorothy Barton Dudley. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Grace Gamboa Dudley, whom he married on September 3, 1985.

Ron is survived by six children; Lori Blackburn of Ft. Worth, TX, Dusty Dudley of Dallas, TX, Ron (Dottie) Dudley, Jr. of Kissimmee, FL, Wendy (David) Wells of Mustang, OK, Alex (Elena) Dudley of Dayton, and Chris Dudley of North Canton, nine grandchildren; Kyle (McKenzie) Wells, Jessica Wells, Samantha Dudley, Victoria “Tori” Dudley, Kahyika Dudley, Jaina Utz, Deanna (Chris) McDaniels, Henry Blackburn, Valary Blackburn. Ron is also survived by three great-children (Benjamin Wells, Anderson Wells, Rylee Dudley) with two more on the way (Daisy Dudley and Anya McWilliams). Also surviving is a nephew, Rick (Tamara) Dudley and several cousins. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill Dudley and Gene Dudley.

Ron served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force. He worked most of his life as a cook and factory worker. He was an avid fan of science fiction, woodworking, creativity and art.

Dad was a funny, kind, generous soul who is fondly remembered by all who met him and immeasurably treasured by those who loved him.

A funeral service celebrating Ron’s life will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 12pm, noon, in Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield. Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends and family visitation will be at the Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield, on Thursday from 11am until the time of the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to Adena Hospice, 2077 Western Ave, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
