Roger David Kinnamon

Roger David Kinnamon 74 of Frankfort passed from this life Tuesday, November 8, 2016. He was born December 14, 1941 in Ross County, the son of Delbert and Mildred (Yoakum) Kinnamon along with brothers Jack, Bob and Mike. He graduated from Paint Valley School. He later joined the Air Force October 12, 1961 with a tour of duty in Vietnam and retiring as a Staff Sargent July 26, 1969. He also worked for American Electric Power for 25 years before retiring in 1994.

Roger loved life and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He especially enjoyed his great grandchildren. In his spare time he liked to pitch horseshoes and watch the Cleveland Cavaliers. Roger was a member of the Ross County Horseshoe Club and the VFW.

Roger just celebrated 55 years of marriage to Daisy (Ford) Kinnamon. He was the father of Lora (Ed Corey) Raines, David (Ann) Kinnamon and Jason Kinnamon; grandfather of Sarah (Kyle) Littler, Betsy Raines and Audrey (Justin) Diehl: great grandfather of Kyla and Drake Littler, Bailey Blevens, River Lily Diehl and Ellie Rose, who will be joining the family in January.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jack and Bob.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with burial following in the Twin Township Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Ross County Honor Guard. Friends may visit with Roger’s family from 11 am until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
