Roberta Treber

Roberta A"BertieA" Treber 88 of Bainbridge died Monday, July 11, 2011 at her residence. She was born March 15, 1923 in Bainbridge the daughter of the late Burr and Julia Hixon Treber.



Bertie is survived by her brother, John V. (Mable) Treber, Sr. of Russell Springs, KY; two nephews, John V. (Cherrie) Treber, Jr. of Huber Heights and Randy (Laurie) Treber of Springboro and three great nephews, Jeremy, Jeffrey and Matt Treber.



In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Warren and Vernon Treber.



Bertie was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and her first job was at the Paxton Restaurant, she later moved to Sabina where she worked in a greenhouse, then became a LPN and owned and operated a nursing home there. After selling her nursing home she returned to her hometown. In her younger years she loved to go boating.



Graveside services will be held 1 pm Friday, July 15, 2011 in the Bainbridge Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed.
