Robert H. Stith

Robert H. Stith 84 of Chillicothe formerly of Bourneville went to be with the Lord Friday, January 11, 2019. He was born August 28, 1934 in Malone, KY the son of the late Jerome Russell and Goldie Broughton Stith.

He is survived by his wife, of 58 years, Emma L. Cutright Stith, whom he married March 29, 1960. Also surviving are two sisters, Lorraine Hodge and Louise (Leonard) Lee; brother-in-law, David Myers and several nieces and nephews, including Debbie Hudnell and Diane (Mike) Detty.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a son, Robert Michael Stith; daughter, K. Annette Stith and sister, Wanda Myers.

Bob worked for Basic Concrete and Carter Grain and Feed before being hired as a custodian for Paint Valley Local Schools where he retired in 2012 after many years. Bob was also an Army veteran and a member of the Bourneville Christian Union Church.

Bob enjoyed target shooting, hunting small game and tinkering around.

The family would like to thank Valley View for the care Bob received while he was a resident at their facility.

Funeral services will be held 10 am Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. David Maughmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with Bob’s family from 5-7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home
