Robert J. Seigle, 88, of Frankfort, died at 3:42 pm, Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born in South Lyon, Michigan to the late Alfred and Edna Simmons Seigle. On February 7, 1954 he married the former Myrtle Hicks, and she preceded him in death on December 21, 2009.

Surviving are his daughter, Sherry (Tim) Bossert of Frankfort, grandchildren, Shawn (Jamie) Bossert of Clarksburg, Shannon (Mandy Dailey) Bossert of Frankfort, great-grandchildren, Kelsie, Caden, Brooke, Brenna, Brady Bossert, MaKaela and MaKenna Lovely who he thought as his own, a sister, Delores Zimmerman of Arlington, TX, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two infant twin sons, one sister, Patsy Carson.

Robert served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Kenworth Truck Company in 1993. He enjoyed going to First Wesleyan Church in Frankfort whenever he was able. He also enjoyed, fishing, hunting, and raising beagle puppies. Robert was an Ohio State fan.

Robert’s family wishes to say special thanks to Jamie Pauley, Adena Hospice, Dr. Le, and Ginger and Amanda Dailey for all their support.

In this unknown time with the COVID-19 pandemic, having a public visitation is not possible. When it is safe for public gatherings, a memorial service will be held. A private graveside service will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort with Craig Reichert and Andrew Day officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to Concord Township EMS, PO Box 616, Frankfort, OH 45628, or Adena Hospice, 9 S. Paint St, Chillicothe, OH 45601 The EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort is serving the family.
