Richard Q. Adams

Richard Q. Adams 75 of Bainbridge died 2:59 am Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at his home. He was born December 24, 1941 in Hyden, KY the son of the late Coy S. and Ella Lewis Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Iris O. Silcox Adams; children, Vickie Lynn (David) Gallaugher, Quentin D.  Adams (Lora) and Franklin Adams; grandchildren, Jesse Joseph D. Adams and Austin James Gaullaugher, Jackie, Joey and Jessica; great grandson, Breckon; brothers, Ivan R., James C., Clifton R., Marcus C., Pearl “Hank”, Carlos and Van C. Adams; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Tyler M. Farler and brother, Dexter L. Adams.

Richard was an Army Veteran and he enjoyed hunting and gardening.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Bishop Ted Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Ross County Honor Guard. Friends may visit with Richard’s family from 11 am - 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
