Ralph Allen Lambert, 88, of Pike County, passed from this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at his home. He was born March 12, 1934, to the late Pearl and Della (Humphrey) Lambert in Pike County. On April 2, 1955, he married Betty Jean Adams who passed from this life Monday, December 6, 2021.
He is survived by two daughters Debra Lambert and her husband Burgess Hallums of Cincinnati and Rhonda Lambert of Carpinteria, California; grandchildren Grace Hallums, Reed Hallums, Holly Pack and Emma Pack; great grandsons Mason, Vander, and Zane; sisters Ruby (Roger) Tackett and Faye (Jeff) Spriggs; brother Wayne Lambert and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, Ralph was preceded in death by sisters Irene, Betty and Esther and brothers Paul and Howard.
Ralph was a member of Fairview Chapel where he served as First Elder for many years. He was an Army Veteran, who served in Alaska. Ralph liked to collect old farm tools and enjoyed mowing his lawn. He also loved to lend a helping hand to his neighbors, family, and friends no matter what the task. Ralph always had a good story to make you laugh. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Fairview Chapel located at 2029 Fairview Road, with Pastor John Huffman officiating. Following the service, Ralph will be laid to rest beside Betty in the Gardner Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed.
