Phillip Lee "PhilCo" Countryman Bobb

Phillip L. "PhilCo" Countryman Bobb, 47, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 2, 2023. He was born on Wednesday, February 26, 1975, in Fayette County, the son of Montie L. Countryman and Diana F. Dunn Bobb, and they both survive.


Also surviving, are Shana Bennett of Clarksburg, who he shared his life and children with, his four sons, Layne Bobb of Clarksburg, Logan Bennett-Miner of Frankfort, Payton Bobb of Powell, Tyler Bobb of Powell, four sisters, Shaunda Countryman of Kingston, Danielle Countryman of Chillicothe, Kallie (Mike Horsley) Bobb of Chillicothe, Makenzie (John) McCoskey of Chillicothe, one brother, David Taylor of Cynthiana, one sister-in-law, Sarah (Richard) Garrison of Frankfort, one brother-in-law, Matthew (Holly) Bennett of Xenia, mother and father-in-law, Kit (Kelly) Bennett of Frankfort, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, his adoptive father, Rusty Bobb, stepmother, Julie Grimsley,  and his four legged babies, Bella and Sugar. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wynona (Jim) Dunn, paternal grandparents, Richard (Rosie) Countryman, and his adoptive grandfather, Jerry Bobb.


PhilCo was a 1995 graduate of Paint Valley High School. He had worked several years in the logging industry, then more recently worked for Integrity Tree Services, where he discovered many lifelong friends. He never met a stranger and was always the life of any party. PhilCo was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was an avid lover of the outdoors, especially fishing, and arrowhead hunting. PhilCo always had a story to tell.


A time of visitation for Phillip and his family will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow.
