Paul B. Risner 76 of Bainbridge passed from this life on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at his home. He was born August 24, 1946, in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the son of the late Earnie and Ina M. (Hensley) Risner.

On September 16, 1967, he married Barbara E. Montgomery who preceded him in death along with a son Quinn Risner; a grandson JT Stone; sisters, Lucy Moore, Marie Hanners, and Glossie Gaskins; brothers Wilburn, Earnie, Dexter, Warnie, Troy and Hager Risner.

Paul is survived by five children Paula (Wendell) Rider, Earnie (Shawnda) Risner, Heather Riser and Crystal (Daniel) Yoakum; grandchildren Zac Renfro, Megan (Luca) Zenari, Andrew (Davenna) Risner, Deanna (Travis) Groves, Audrey (Michael) Husted, Christopher (Brittany) Risner, Clarissa Risner, Michael Risner, Jennifer Stone, Jessica Grube and Destiny Stone, Adriana and Alexis Yoakum; great grandchildren Kale J Paul Groves, Jackson Groves, Jaylyn Hicks, Emily Zenari, Wyatt Risner, Noah Risner, Gabriel Riser, Dominic Riser, Braxton Risner, Elliott Riser, Amarah Risner, Myah, Brylee, Rayven, Gregory Jr and Mckenzie Grube, Shawn Chandler and Aria Everhart, Aurora Chandler and Kameron Riley; a sister Darlene Blackman and a brother Wallen Riser.

He was a retired concrete finisher, an Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 14 of Bainbridge.

Paul B. was a collector of many things, and he enjoyed tinkering on old cars. He also loved his little buddy Sugar who went everywhere with him.

A military graveside service will be held at Noon on Saturday, July 22, 2023 in the Gardner Cemetery. No Calling hours will be observed. The Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
