Montie "Paunch" Kuhn

Montie Eugene "Paunch" Kuhn 72 of Chillicothe passed from this life Saturday, December 24, 2022 at his home. He was born September 5, 1950 in Ross County the son of the late Carson E. and Rosella M. (Hurley) Kuhn. His wife Nancy (Wilson) Kuhn died July 13, 1998. In addition to his parents and wife Montie was preceded in death by his fiancé Vickie Snyder; a sister Opal Sullivan and two brothers Emmitt and Kenneth Kuhn.

Montie is survived by his daughters Rachel Kuhn (Chris Felts) and Reba Kuhn (William Danner); stepdaughters Maggie and Minnie Snyder; grandchildren Jaboa and Courtney; step grandson Eddie; great grandchildren Xander, Jaxel, Langston, and Arteus; sister, Elaine Rutter; brother Scottie Kuhn and close friend Craig Ford.

Paunch worked for Davis Lumber for many years, and he enjoyed woodworking, cooking, coon hunting and having milk cows.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Friday, December 30, 2022 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Ronnie Butcher officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest beside Nancy in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home on Friday.
