Mildred Tootle Lauver

Mildred "Milly" Tootle Lauver, 93, of Powell, formerly of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2010 surrounded by her family. Milly was born on November 2, 1916 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Charles and Marie Grimes Shasteen. She lived most of her life in Frankfort and Chillicothe and most recently moved to Powell.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 35 years, Joseph Tootle, brother, Charles Shasteen and her second husband, Ted Lauver.



Milly is survived by her son; Don (Barbara) Tootle of Dublin, OH, grandchildren; Tim (Janice) Tom and Tami Tootle and great grandchildren; Joseph and Jacob Tootle.



She retired from Huntington Bank, formerly Savings Bank of Chillicothe where she was a teller for over twenty five years. She was a 1935 graduate of Frankfort High School and was a graduate of Bliss College.



The great love of her life included her faith, family, friends and gardening. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church (formerly Hyatts UMC) in Delaware and had dual membership in Frankfort United Methodist Church.



Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 11am in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Rev. Tim Barlowe officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 10, 2010 at 10 am in Liberty UMC, 1701 Columbus Pk., Delaware, OH 43015. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to either church.
