Michael R. "Mick" Maley II

Michael R. “Mick” Maley II, 53, of Columbus, died on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the OSU James Cancer Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 4, 1964 in Cincinnati.

He is survived by his fiance’, Lori Signoracci of Columbus, two sons, Michael Maley III of Newark OH, Travis Maley of Pataskala, one great-granddaughter, three sisters, Shasta (David) Barrows of Chillicothe, Beth (Chris) Herman of Clarksburg, Teresa (Dan) Maley of Chillicothe, two brothers, Jack Maley of Catawba, Matt Maley of Chillicothe, niece and nephews, Ryan, Rob, and Doug Maley, David and Josh Barrows, Holly and Ella Herman, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Judi Rains Johnson and Jimmy Johnson, two sisters, Katrina and Debra Maley, one brother, Timothy Maley, and his father, Michael R. Maley I.

Mick worked as a painter from the time he was 13 years old, and love classic cars.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, June 16, 2017 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort, with Pastor Dan Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown’s Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg. Friends are invited to visit with the Maley family at the funeral home on Friday from 11am until the time of service.
