Mary Frances Purdum

Mary Frances (Eubanks) Purdum 88 of Bainbridge went to be with the Lord 6:55 am Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Valley View Care Center, Frankfort. She was born November 22, 1933 in Ross County the daughter of the late Morey and Edna Mae (Purcell) Eubanks. On December 3, 1951 she married Gene Allen Purdum who died Wednesday, July 25, 2012.

Mary is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Rhonda Purdum of Bainbridge; a daughter and son-in-law Karen and Eric Brooks of Athens; five grandchildren, Leslie (Tim) Steger of Blacklick, Michael (Brianna) Hubbard of Wooster, Mason (Karen) Purdum of Bainbridge, Megan (Nate) Brown of Westerville and Cassie (Clint) Williamson of Bainbridge; seven great grandchildren, London and Victoria Hubbard, Addison and Carly Steger, Case Purdum, Jolie Williamson and Henry Brown; sister-in-law, Emma Eubanks and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband Mary was predeceased by 2 sisters Geraldine Knisley and Thelma Stanley and a brother Henry Russell “Jassie” Eubanks.

Mary was a 1951 graduate of Bainbridge High School and longtime member of the Bainbridge Church of Christ. She enjoyed taking care of her family and spent her life as a loving wife, mother and grandparent.

The Family would like to thank, Valley View Care Center of Frankfort for all their support and care during this difficult time.

Private services will be held at the Bainbridge Church of Christ with Steve Henderson officiating. Following the service Mary will be laid to rest with Gene in the Twin Township Cemetery.
