Mark Wayne Johnson

Mark Wayne Johnson “Many-Hands” age 56 of South Salem passed from this life on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home, in the arms of his wife of 33 years, Crystal Dawn (Whitt) Johnson.  He was born July 21, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio to William Johnson and Janis (Karnes) Edwards.

Mark is survived by his wife Crystal; four children Marc , Chris, Tiffany and Holly Johnson (Daniel Retherford); four grandchildren Kassidy Paige, Maddison Raelynn and Hope Flower Johnson and Jordan Howard Retherford; his mother Janis; sisters Dawn Stapleton and Lisa Keefe; brothers Tim and Brian Johnson and all the siblings he has never met; his step mother Phyllis Johnson and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including some very special friends Dockery Fugate, Eric Coleman, Rich Green, Isaac Powers, Steve Coey, David and Kenny Minniear.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mark was a loved employee of Pennant Molding. He enjoyed the outdoors and riding his motorcycle. Mark loved the Native American Culture and was a very crafty person making his own Indian clothes and Indian bead work. He played the Indian flute, and he was a member of Spirit Wind Pow Wow Drum.

Cremation will take place and there will be no service or viewing.
