Lucille W. Ackley

Lucille W. Ackley, 88, of Frankfort, died at 12:50am on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at her home. She was born on February 13, 1928 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Henry and Lucetta Tyler France. On March 18, 1947 she married Robert W. Ackley, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Marilyn (Dennis) Garrison of Chillicothe, eight grandchildren; Dennis Garrison, Jr., Tammy Newlun, Dave Ackley, Rob Ackley, Cindy Ackley, Brandon Ackley, Jenny Ackley, Randy Ackley, one sister; Thelma (Robert) Burns of Chillicothe. She was preceded in death by two sons, Randy and David Ackley.
Lucille was a 1946 graduate of Frankfort High School and she was a faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Chillicothe. Lucille was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and loved to cook for her family. She also enjoyed sewing and canning vegetables.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service at 2pm on Thursday, June 9, 2016, in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, with Elder Jason Burgess officiating. In keeping with Lucille's wishes, no calling hours will be held. The EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort is serving the family.
