Louis S. "Louie" Morrison

Louis S. “Louie” Morrison, 90, of Clarksburg, died at 3:25 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Ohio Health Berger Hospital, Circleville. He was born on Wednesday, November 25, 1931, in Ross County, the son of the late Harvey and Mary Betts Morrison. On February 25, 1951 he married the former Peggy A. Reichelderfer and she preceded him in death on November 28, 2020.   

He is survived by two daughters: Carol Penrod of Clarksburg and Jodi Morrison of Circleville. He is also survived by three nephews: Jim (Kelly) Morrison of New Holland, Thomas (Mary Ann) Morrison of Nashville, TN, Mike (Linda) Morrison of Newark, OH, one niece: Barbara Hecht of Akron. Louie was preceded in death by his two brother: Russell and Wendell Morrison.  

Louie was a 1949 graduate of Clarksburg High School.  He was a farmer all his life. He was a member of the Clarksburg Grange for over seventy-five years, the Farm Bureau and the Pickaway County Farmers Club.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the Brown’s Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg with Jay Fabin officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest beside his wife, Peggy. In keeping with Louie’s wishes, no visiting hours will be held. The EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort is serving the family.
