Linda L. Knapp

Linda L. (Frizzell) Knapp 67 of Spargursville passed from this life Thursday, September 22, 2022, at her home. She was born Thursday, March 3, 1955, in Chillicothe. On November 17, 1973, Linda married Stephen L. Knapp who died June 27, 2019. She was also preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Luetricia “Pat” (Rowe) and Francis Calvin Knisley; her grandson Trenton Knapp; father-in-law James L. Knapp; and stepbrother Charles Calvin Knisley.

Linda is survived by her son Aaron L. Knapp; grandson Grant Myer; sister Talley L. (Robert) Patterson of Bethel; brothers Robert K. (Cathy) Frizzell of Chillicothe and Jeffrey A. (Mindi) Frizzell of Georgetown; mother-in-law Opal Knapp of Chillicothe; stepsisters Kathryn Conn, Stacia Haas and Barbara McKell, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Linda retired from Glatfelter and she enjoyed crocheting afghans and cooking for everyone. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 14 of Bainbridge and the Eagles #1325 of Greenfield.

A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 1 to 5 pm at her home.
