Linda L. Hinson

Linda Loree Hinson, 78, of Clarksburg, died on Wednesday morning, August 5, 2026, at Hopewell Grove Care Center, Chillicothe. She was born in Vinton County on Monday, January 26, 1948, a daughter of the late John Herman and Norma Wanetta Wine Hinson.

She is survived by a brother-in-law; Ray Dunn of Clarksburg, her nieces and nephews; Timothy R. (Leigh Ann) Robinson of Georgia, Tara (Merv) Keeton of Clarksburg, Todd (Devan) Robinson of Chillicothe and Jeremy Dunn, her great nieces and nephews; Ryan and Riley Robinson, Amanda Keeton, Cody (Ashley) Keeton, Peytan Robinson and Delaney Dunn, two great-great nieces; Avianna Jane and Emberly Raeh. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her loving sister; Norma Jane Dunn and a great niece; Loren Reigh Robinson.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Allensville High School. She worked as a legal secretary for many years and had served as township clerk for Eagle Township.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday afternoon, August 9, 2026, at 4 p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Family and friends will visit on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Linda will be laid to rest on Monday at 11 a.m. in Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Vinton County beside her parents.
