Linda L. Cooper

Linda Lou Cooper 84 of Bainbridge passed from this life Sunday, April 23, 2023. She was born Thursday, October 6, 1938 in Spargursville to the late Harley W. and Clara B. (Mark) Cooper.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Judith and Willard “Bill” Cottrill; niece Cindy (Eugene) Potts; great great nephew Jace Kuhn; niece and caretaker Melissa Knisley; and special friends Sharon Rinehart and Patty Blesedell.

In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by her great niece Miranda Lee Potts.

After graduating from Ohio University, Linda taught in the Chillicothe School system for several years before finishing her career at Huntington Schools, where she retired after a total of 46 years. Linda loved her American Saddlebred horses and she enjoyed teaching and spending time with her family.

Cremation will take place and a graveside service will be held 11 am Saturday, May 20, 2023 in the Twin Township Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be made to the Ross County Humane Society.

The Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
