Levi R. Bobo

Levi R. Bobo, Jr “Lee” 92, passed away January 25, 2026, at his home. Lee was born November 12, 1933, in Bainbridge, Ohio to Levi R Bobo Sr and Tressie Penwell. He was one of 14 children.

He married Dorothy Eidem Bobo on February 14, 1963, and together they raised two children, David and Cheryl.

Dorothy preceded him in death in June 2021, and he missed her terribly.

Lee was a Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force from 1953-1962 where he worked on navigation systems on the aircraft. His love for aircraft and flying earned him a private pilots license as well.

Lee is survived by his son David (Marnie) Bobo of Nineveh and daughter Cheryl (Jason) Douglas of Texas. He has 4 grandchildren: Amanda Bobo, Steven (Alisha) Bobo, Evan (Kara) Bobo and Savannah Douglas. He was further blessed with 6 great grandchildren: Ethan, Gavin, Gabe, Sam, Caleb and Audrey.

Per his wishes, there will not be a service. A small family gathering will be held in Bainbridge Cemetery.
