Leonard E. Gillenwater

Leonard E. Gillenwater, 67, of Greenfield, died Tuesday morning, May 12, 2020, at his home. He was born on Wednesday, August 20, 1952 the son of the late Robert and Joyce O’Brien Gillenwater. For over twenty years, Leonard has shared his life with Sandra “Sandy” Joslin, and she survives.

He is also survived by two sisters, Heather (Bobby Kersh) Butcher and Mary Gillenwater, both of Greenfield, nephew Chase (Amanda) Gillenwater of Greenfield, his good friend, Mark Cutler of Greenfield, numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Dale, Mike, and Kerry Gillenwater, and one niece, Chasity Johnson.

Leonard retired from being a janitor after many years of employment with several different businesses.

In keeping with Leonard’s wishes cremation will take place. No service hours will be observed. The ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield is serving the family. Family and friends are asked to leave a personal memory of Leonard on his online register book
