Larry A. Kline, 70, of Chillicothe, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at his home. He was born on November 22, 1940 in Portsmouth OH. On June 20, 1967 he married the former Dorothy "Dot" Brown who preceded him in death on March 30, 1994.



Surviving are his mother; Goldie M. Dillon Jones of Chillicothe, siblings; Leonard Jones Jr. of Daytona Beach FL, Carolyn Jones of Frankfort, Paul (Cindy) Jones of Spicewood TX, Richard (Barb) Jones of Frankfort, nieces and nephews; Peter and Jason Jones, Kari Kennedy, Joseph, Rachal, Rebeka, and Caleb Jones, several great nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his step-father; Leonard Jones Sr. brother; Ronald Kline, and his best friend and pet dog BJ.



Larry graduated from Williamsport High School. In his younger years he worked as a mechanic at Dunlap. Larry went on to join the United States Army, having been put on alert during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Larry retired from DuPont, Circleville, where he worked in maintenance. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, being outdoors, and his pet dog BJ. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.



Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor David Titler officiating. Burial will follow in Springlawn Cemetery, Williamsport, with military honors accorded by the Pickaway County Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, PO Box 182039 Dept O13, Columbus OH 43218-2039.
