L. Evelyn Fannin 78 of Canal Winchester died 7:25 pm Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Mt. Carmel East, Columbus. She was born April 8, 1935 in Ross County the daughter of the late John and Freda Shoemaker Walls. In June of 1952 she married W. Harold Fannin who died April 10, 1998.
Surviving are her children, Janet Fannin, Lora Ward and Jerry, Michael Fannin, Richard Fannin, Lorna Fizz and Joyce Craft; grandchildren, Donna (Travis) Frenton, Randy (Jennifer) Ward, Sarah and Olivia Craft and Denise Fannin; great grandchildren, Kellen, Matthew, Alex and Daphne; sister, Niomi Johnson; brother, Jimmy Walls and special friends, Lowell and Jean Mills, Lillian Wetzle and Lillian Randall.
In addition to her parents and husband Evelyn was predeceased by a son John Fannin.
She was a member of the Groveport Baptist Church and was affectionately known as GG to her great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Camlin Hill Church with burial following in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, of Bainbridge.
