Kenneth D. "Kenny" Yates "Joker"

Kenneth D. "Kenny" Yates, "Joker", 67, of Frankfort, died on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at his home. He was born on Tuesday October 28, 1958, in Columbus, a son of the late James H., Sr. and Betty E. Gavin Yates.

He is survived by his children; Cody Lay of Enid, OK, Donnie Davis of Sandusky, OH, Kendall Yates of Circleville, Sabrina Yates of Frankfort, Samantha Kirk of Chillicothe and Virgil Yates of Frankfort, and his partner; Shelly Belt. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Trinity, Ryker, Cooper, Carter, Colt, Tristan, Keenan, Landon and Aubri, his loving pets; Luna and Nova Yates. Kenny was preceded in death by his sister, Charlie and his brother, Jim Yates, Jr. and Eva and Diva, his beloved pets.

Kenny was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a truck driver for several years. He loved to ride his motorcycle and he dedicated his life to his children.. He was a member of the Lost Tribe Motorcycle Club and the AMVETS, Post 2256.

A graveside service for Kenny will be held on Friday morning, July 10, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, located at 15550 Elm Rock Road. Military honors will be accorded by the United States Army.
