Kathleen Rose, 90, of Frankfort, passed on to her Heavenly home on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 1:17 a.m. in the Vineyards at Concord. She was born Friday, November 21, 1930 in Neon, Letcher County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Oscar and Cora Quillen Vanover. She is survived by her husband, Bobby G. Rose, who she married on August 1, 1956.
She is also survived by their children, Vicki (Terry) Aldenderfer, Nickilous (Becky) Rose, Doris (Tim) Conley all of Chillicothe, Bobby (Kris) Rose of McArthur, OH and Blake (Jenny) Rose of Chillicothe, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and her special friend, Patti Russell. She was preceded in death by her three sisters and three brothers.
Kathleen was a devoted wife and was the best mother. She will be remembered for her wonderful cooking and meals and her beautiful gardens. Kathleen was a faithful member of the Chillicothe First Church of God since 1963 and was a member of the CWC women’s group of the church. She supported the works of Gideon’s International by being an active member of the Gideons Auxiliary.
The Rose family wishes to thank the staff of the Vineyards at Concord for the wonderful and loving care they provided to Kathleen the past four years.
A private family service will be held at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Matt Roe officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. The family wishes that all their family and friends could be a part of the service but with the COVID-19 concerns, they ask that you say a prayer and thank God for the way Kathleen enriched your life. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Building Fund at the Chillicothe First Church of God, P.O. Box 83, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
